August 2010

We appreciated very much staying at your villa. It's really a very nice villa in a very quiet place and lovely surroundings. The view is amazing. We can see the sea and Ria Formosa in front of the house, and at the back we had a lovely mountain view. It was a very relaxing holiday between the mountains and the sea. We spent a very nice time there playing and swimming in the pool with our kids, who loved their holidays too in Casa Peralta with family and friends.
Maybe we will go to Tavira next year and if so I'll get in touch with you to check the availability of the villa.

 

July 2010   We are two families who stayed at Casa Peralta for 2 weeks in July. The villa was lovely; clean, well appointed and very spacious. The children loved the swimming pool which was very warm, clean, and well maintained providing a welcome break from the glorious sunshine.

The villa is perfectly situated. If you choose not to hire a car, it is within walking distance of Tavira, which is beautiful and unspoiled, yet lively enough to enjoy good evenings out. We hired a car and explored the area; there are plenty of places to visit within an hours drive.

The nearby beaches are all lovely and different because you have to access them by train or short ferry trips. We ate out on several evenings, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Tavira. They vary in price and food but we preferred the traditional Portuguese ones, which offered local cuisine at a reasonable price (around 50 euros for a family of 4 including wine, and drinks for the children). These can be found a short distance away from the touristy areas of Tavira (we can't remember our favourite but wrote it in the visitor's book).

We would have no problem recommending the villa to other families and hope to return ourselves soon. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

July 2009   We are a family of 5 people who have really enjoyed a most relaxing stay at your lovely villa.  I also agree with your previous guests’ comments that the pictures of your villa on your website don’t do your villa any justice – it is fantastic and the views are also fantastic.

 

July 2009    Please see below a summary of some of our positive comments that we have left in your visitors book:
1.  The pictures on your website do not do justice to your villa, it is twice as good as the pictures suggest.
2.  The large private swimming pool has some fantastic views over Tavira and the Atlantic ocean.
3.  The villa has everything and more, that a family requires to have a great holiday.
4.  We would certainly recommend this large luxury villa to everyone and anyone wanting a quiet luxury stay on the Algarve.

 

October 2008:  I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in your villa. We all agree that the photos on your website do not really do it justice. The beds are very comfortable and the villa well equipped.

 

I think our aim will be to return again next year and hope that it may be possible to rent your villa again.

 

July 2008:  The villa was fantastic, far superior to what we were expecting, the pictures on the web site did not do it justice.

The agents were lovely and very helpful. We would certainly recommend it to our friends and family and maybe even return ourselves in the future.

 

July 2007 and August 2008:  “We spent two weeks at the villa in 2007 and loved it!  Had such a good time we couldn't think of anywhere we would rather go in 2008 so went back for another glorious two weeks. The villa is wonderful, a real home from home, and has everything you need for your stay.

                                                           

The villa is very clean with good quality bedding. towels etc and much more than you would expect of a holiday home. If it was mine I would hate to rent it out, it is so lovely!

 

Everything is thought of by the owners, down to the folder of places to go and things to see in the surrounding area.   The agents are helpful and friendly but we didn't really need them as nothing went wrong with the villa to warrant calling them.  We didn't feel the need to hire a car for everyday use as we would walk into Tavira via the lane and then get a cab home. There are people carrier cabs which could take all 7 of us and the pram! We hired a car for a few days to do some sightseeing and went to Seville and took the ferry over to Ayamonte in Spain.

 

 We all look forward to returning at some point in the near future. “
